Last Friday morning I hauled my Epson 3800 and a bunch of ink and paper into Charlottesville to help out at the second annual Design Marathon (info here). My role was to provide printed output for the 11 design projects taking place. While things did get a little hectic towards the end of the day, everyone’s patience and appreciation kept it from ever feeling like real work. I had a blast.

I did have a couple opportunities to step away from my station and grab a few pictures of the event. By no means comprehensive, here’s a gallery from the trenches…

Welcome to my new blog.  I am a professional photographer specializing in commercial work.  You can use the link on the right to visit my company’s homepage.  I’d like to consider this blog to be tangential to that homepage.  While there will be a bit of photo-specific content here, I want this blog to represent anything and everything that interests me.  I respect the time and attention of anyone who might visit so I’ll only be posting things that I expect will genuinely interest or inform others.  As a result, after I work through the backlog of ideas that led me to start this thing, I expect to settle down to just a few posts a month.
